Playing Style & Assessment
A classic left-back profile who prioritises defensive discipline, using his pace to cover the flank both ways. While effective when he carries the ball forward, his main value lies in his defensive positioning.
Strengths
- Experience at a young age — Nearly two seasons of TFF 1. Lig experience already at 22
- Defensive discipline — Consistent in positioning and marking
Development Areas
- Limited attacking output — Low goal/assist production, with restricted offensive influence
- Consistency — His playing time dipped in the 2025-26 season
Level Projection
Verdict: Given his age and current experience, Erdem is positioned as a reliable TFF 1. Lig-standard left-back. If he continues to feature regularly, he could attract interest from higher-division clubs, though that depends on increasing his playing time.
