Marko Livaja Scout Report: Is the King of Poljud Still the League’s Most Dangerous at 32?
Quick scout answer: Livaja should be studied as a phenomenon, not a target: back home since 2021 after Inter’s academy, Atalanta, Las Palmas and stardom at AEK Athens, he remains Hajduk’s defining figure. At 32 he produced 9 goals and 6 assists in 22 games (1,738 minutes — a contribution every ~116 minutes) as Hajduk finished runners-up. Volatile (5 yellows, 1 red), a set-piece and penalty authority, a free-roaming scorer between 10 and 9. The age curve now makes him a 60-70-minute elite — but in the HNL those minutes still win matches.
