Hamza Darai Moghreb Tétouan Scouting Report
Hamza Darai
Quick Answer
Darai is the 25-year-old Moroccan centre-forward carrying Moghreb Tétouan’s goalscoring load. In 2024-25 he produced 10 goals and 4 assists in 30 official matches across Botola Pro and the Coupe du Trône, becoming one of the league’s most eye-catching young attackers. Being the squad’s highest-valued player (€500k) and standing out with squad number 99 confirms the coaching staff has built the attack around him. His goals during the club’s D2-to-D1 promotion raise the question of whether he can stay just as productive under top-flight pressure.

Playing Style and Assessment
At 1.83m with a right-footed profile, he offers a physical base suited to both box finishing and running the channels. His 10-goal output in 2024-25 points to a centre-forward who scores regularly rather than opportunistically. Being the squad’s highest-valued player shows the coaching staff has built its attacking organisation around him.
Strengths
- Goalscoring output — Scoring 10 goals in 30 official matches in 2024-25 points to a regular finishing capacity.
- Assist contribution — Producing 4 assists the same season shows he is a creative attacking partner, not just a finisher.

- Transfer interest — Interest from clubs such as Portugal’s Gil Vicente shows his form has been noticed abroad.
Areas for Development
- Top-flight pressure test — His 10-goal output came at D2 level; whether he can sustain the same efficiency in the more physical/tactical environment of Botola Pro D1 is not yet proven.
- Data depth — Advanced metrics such as xG and shot accuracy are not available in open sources; the assessment relies on basic statistics.
- Age and sale pressure — At 25, and with a rising market value, the club may face sale pressure in upcoming transfer windows.
Level Within Botola Pro
