Official: Bayern Munich Sign Ismael Saibari from PSV on a Deal Until 2031
MUNICH — Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Moroccan attacking midfielder Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven, the German champions confirmed. The 25-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2031, with the transfer fee reported at around €55 million.
Saibari arrives in Munich after a breakout period with PSV and with Morocco, where he has been one of the standout performers at the World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada. He will join up with his new teammates once Morocco’s tournament ends.
What Bayern Are Getting
Saibari is an attacking midfielder who can also operate on either flank or as a second striker. His profile combines late runs into the box, direct carrying in transition and goal output that has grown season on season in Eindhoven.
“Ismael Saibari will bring extra quality and unpredictability to our attacking play,” said Max Eberl, Bayern’s board member for sport.
The player himself made his ambitions clear: “As a child, you dream of signing for a club like Bayern — everyone knows they’re one of the biggest clubs in the world. Bayern compete for the biggest titles, including the Champions League, every season, and I want to win as many titles here as possible.”
The Fee and the Market
At a reported €55m, Saibari becomes one of the most expensive departures in PSV’s history and one of the headline moves of the 2026 summer window in the Bundesliga. For PSV, the sale continues a well-established model of developing and selling attacking talent at peak value.
