I have tracked Augustine Nwaorisa across several Enyimba Aba matches this NPFL campaign, and the first thing that stands out is his courage in a shirt that carries weight. Enyimba are the record nine-time Nigerian champions, and dropping a seventeen-year-old into that pressure usually exposes a young player. Instead Nwaorisa keeps demanding the ball, drifting in from the left touchline to receive between the lines. He already has senior moments to his name: his first NPFL goal came away in Maiduguri against El Kanemi Warriors, and he snatched a dramatic added-time equaliser against Wikki Tourists in the seventh minute of stoppage time. Those are not the actions of a player hiding from responsibility.
Technically he is a right-footed left winger who prefers to cut inside onto his stronger foot rather than hug the line. His first touch tends to be forward-facing, which lets him attack the full-back at speed off the half-turn. In transition he is direct and looks for the shot or the cutback early. When the game slows and defenders sit deep on him, his end product becomes more variable, and that is the area where his decision-making still reads like a teenager finding his level in a demanding league.
Defensively he works back willingly, which matters in an Enyimba side that has spent stretches of the season fighting to climb the table rather than dictating games. He is not yet a disciplined pressing trigger, but he does not switch off when possession is lost, and for a winger his age that base attitude is encouraging. Physically he needs to add strength to hold off senior full-backs over ninety minutes, and his consistency from match to match is the honest question mark.
My overall read is a raw, right-footed inverted winger with a genuine appetite for the big moment and enough end product already showing to justify close monitoring. The profile is early-stage and the numbers are modest, so I am cautious on the current level, but the temperament and the willingness to carry Enyimba's shirt at seventeen are real, trackable assets.
Scout tavsiyesi: Monitor closely: a raw but fearless inverted winger whose big-moment goals for a nine-time champion at 17 justify continued tracking before any move.
