Ibra Lo is the kind of Senegalese prospect that rarely reaches the Francophone scouting circuit: a 1.90 m right-footed forward, born on 8 December 2006, who has just left the Senegalese domestic game for Morocco. According to the transfer data I trust, he moved from AJEL de Rufisque to Difaâ El Jadida on 27 August 2026 on a free transfer, with a contract that runs to 30 June 2029.
The move matters more than the fee. Botola Pro is a step up in physical demand and tactical organisation from Senegal's Ligue 1, and a 19-year-old forward who gets minutes there will be tested quickly. FotMob lists him among Difaâ's forwards and credits him with one league goal so far this season, which is a small but real sample. I will not turn one goal into a scoring profile.
What the record supports: size, a right foot and a clean entry into a better league. What it does not support, at least in sources I can check, is any claim about his pressing, link-up play or finishing efficiency. Older pages attached to his name show a youth spell with 2 appearances and 2 goals at a club listed as Excellence; that is too thin to use and I note it only so nobody over-reads it.
Tactically, a 1.90 m forward in a Moroccan side that plays transitional football can serve as a reference point in a front two, or as a wide forward who attacks the far post. I would want to see how he moves without the ball before choosing between the two.
West Africa produces forwards of this build regularly; the question is always whether they hold a starting place after the first adaptation year. For Ibra Lo that test is the 2026/27 Botola Pro season.
Scout tavsiyesi: Monitor. Decision points: whether he becomes a regular in Difaâ El Jadida's attack, whether the single league goal grows into a pattern, and how he copes with Botola Pro defenders. Not a bid candidate yet; a name for the West Africa follow list.
