He moved from Daejeon Hana Citizen to Brighton & Hove Albion in March 2025; the contract took effect in July 2025 and, according to FotMob, runs until June 2030. Under the loan announced on 5 July 2026 he is spending the 2026-27 season at 1. FC Magdeburg, where he wears the number 19 shirt.
